Thirty Gator student athletes to receive degrees this weekend
Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, linebacker Ryan Stamper, All-American pitcher Stacey Nelson and SEC record-setting volleyball player Elyse Cusack are among 30 Florida student-athletes who will receive undergraduate degrees in commencement ceremonies this weekend in Gainesville.
The Florida football team leads the way in number of December graduates, with 11 players set to receive degrees from UF. The Gator baseball, men’s track and field and women’s swimming and diving teams all have four student-athletes each taking part in commencement ceremonies. The Florida volleyball team boasts three graduates, while softball and women’s basketball each have two participating in graduation.
Gator senior student-athletes earning their degrees following the completion of the fall semester will additionally be honored at a graduation luncheon Saturday at 11:15 a.m.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Kimberly Critton,Susan Yenser.
BASEBALL: Avery Barnes, Ben Harrison, Patrick Keating, Matt LaPorta
SOFTBALL: Danyell Hines, Stacey Nelson.
WOMEN'S SWIMMING/DIVING: Jeana Bartell; Laurabeth Guenthner, Kelsy Smith, Lauren Winter.
VOLLEYBALL: Kelsey Bowers, Elyse Cusack; Kristina Johnson.
