Tim Tebow reportedly lands lucrative Nike deal
After four years of wearing Nike apparel for free, it appears former UF quarterback Tim Tebow is now going to get paid to sport the famous swoosh.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Tebow has signed a shoe and apparel deal with Nike that will pay him just under $300,000 a year at minimum, with incentives that could earn him significantly more than that, according to the report.
The debate continues over whether Tebow will be a successful NFL player, but he's proving he can earn cash without ever wearing an NFL jersey. He's had several autograph signing sessions that have brought out hundreds of fans to pay $160 for his autograph ( a little less for just a photo).
