Urban Meyer: "We're where we want to be''
Florida's list of signed recruits stands at 16 right now, despite two big-time losses, but a happy Florida coach Urban Meyer said early Monday afternoon, all is well in Gator Country.
"We want to be right around 18 to 21 (signees) every year, that's the mark of a good program,'' Meyer said. "We have (16) signees, we have 22 players back on defense. . . We're right where we want to be.''
The Gators lost out on four-star WR Nu'Keese Richardson and athlete Marsalis Teague. Richardson orally committed to the Gators months ago, but visited Tennessee last weekend and said he was having a change of heart upon his return home. He signed with the Vols today.
Teague, from Paris, Tenn., also signed with the Vols.
