Will Muschamp to fill final vacancy with former NFL player Bryant Young
Former NFL standout Bryant Young will be the Gators' defensive line coach, which finalizes the coaching hires for new head coach Will Muschamp.
Young, 38, is coming off his first season as the defensive line coach at San Jose State. He spent the 2009 season as the defensive graduate assistant at the Notre Dame. which is his alma mater.
Young spent his entire NFL career - 1994 -2007 with the San Francisco 49ers. He was the seventh overall selection by San Francisco in the 1994 NFL draft. A starter from his first season to last (208 games) he was the 1994 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year as San Francisco became the first NFL franchise to win five Super Bowls in January 1995.
During his career, San Francisco won four NFC West Division championships and qualified for the playoffs seven times.
