Will Muschamp's staff beginning to take shape

Incoming coach Will Muschamp has solidified several key staff positions, the Times has learned.

Former Notre Dame coach and current Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Charlie Weis is expected to join the staff, as reported on Friday by ESPN.

Former Gator receiver Aubrey Hill, who is currently the receivers coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of Miami, will join the Gators' staff as Florida's receivers coach.

Current UF running backs coach Stan Drayton and linebackers/special teams coach D.J. Durkin are expected to remain on the Gators' staff.

Muschamp said during his introductory press conference that he would not officially announce his staff until after today's Outback Bowl game against Penn State. Out of respect to outgoing coach Urban Meyer, Muschamp has declined interviews and remained in Austin for much of the week leading into the Outback Bowl.

Meanwhile, UF co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach Chuck Heater may be bound for Temple. The Times has learned that Heater has been in discussions about possibly joining new head coach Steve Addazio at Temple, where he would serve as defensive coordinator.
