Dalvin Cook's younger brother, James, has orally committed to Florida State, he announced Friday morning on Twitter.

Cook is one of the country's top prospects for the class of 2019. The 5-foot-11, 182-pound Cook also held offers from Alabama, Florida, LSU and others.

Cook starred last fall as a freshman at Miami Central. In the Class 6A state title game, he rushed for 178 yards and three touchdowns in a 48-13 win over Armwood.

Dalvin Cook has lived up to his five-star billing at FSU. He was sixth nationally in rushing yards (1,691) and fourth in yards per carry (7.4). He will enter his junior season as a preseason Heisman Trophy contender.

Oral commitments are non-binding until recruits sign letters of intent during their senior year.
