Derrick Brooks reportedly headed to College Football Hall of Fame
Former Florida State great Derrick Brooks will become one of the next members of the College Football Hall of Fame, ESPN reported Thursday.
An official announcement on the hall's next class of inductees is scheduled for Friday.
Brooks, the Bucs legend, is already in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. His No. 10 jersey is retired at FSU after a career that included two consensus All-America seasons, a national championship and the 1994 ACC player of the year award.
Our Joe Smith wrote about Brooks' FSU career in July 2014, just before Brooks was set to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
