Erik Murphy preparing for end of "best four years of my life"
When Florida played at Yale earlier this season, hundreds of friends and fans from Erik Murphy's hometown of South Kingstown, R.I., traveled the short distance to the game to see him play. Unfortunately, he had suffered broken ribs and was unable to play in that game.
There will be a much smaller contingent of family on hand Wednesday night to see Murphy play his final home game as a Gator.
Murphy, the SEC's leading 3-point shooter, said he's surprised by how fast the time has gone by and called his time at Florida "the best four years of my life."
