Ex-FSU quarterback who punched woman signing with FAU
It took less than 24 hours for Lane Kiffin to make some headlines as Florida Atlantic's new coach.
The Owls are signing former Florida State quarterback De'Andre Johnson, according to a report from 247Sports.
Before Johnson was a three-star recruit from East Mississippi Community College, he was the state's Mr. Football at Jacksonville First Coast. But you probably recognize the name for a different reason.
FSU dismissed him from the team in July 2015 after authorities released a video of him punching a woman in the face at a Tallahassee bar. Johnson was charged with misdemeanor battery in the incident.
