Florida center Patric Young won't discount Michigan because of youth

When Florida and Michigan meet Sunday afternoon in the NCAA Tournament South Region final, Florida will have a starting lineup that consists of three seniors and two juniors.

Michigan's starters are three freshmen, a sophomore and a junior.

And none of that will matter on Sunday, Young said.

"It does not matter, (that the Gators' have more veterans starting)," Young said. "Kansas started four seniors and one freshman and they got beat (Friday) night by Michigan who played three freshmen, a sophomore and a junior. When it comes down to it, you just have to come to play."

More from Young during Florida's interview session at the NCAA South Regional in Arlington, Texas.
