Florida forward Will Yeguette undergoes more knee surgery

Senior forward Will Yeguete underwent an arthroscopic debridement on his right knee Wednesday morning at UF Health Shands Hospital, Florida athletic officials confirmed today.

Yeguette is expected to require at least four months of recovery.

It is the third surgery he has undergone since joining the Gators, the second on his knee.

Yeguete fractured his foot late in the 2011 season, and missed all of the Gators' postseason.

In 2012, he missed a month of action after undergoing surgery to remove floating chips in the right knee. He said at the end of the season he most likely would need more surgery, which was completed today.

The 6-foot-7 Yeguete averaged 5.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in 31 games for the Gators this past season, but is considered one of Florida's best defensive players.
