Florida Gators lineman Caleb Brantley declares for NFL draft
Florida Gators defensive tackle Caleb Brantley will skip his final season to enter the NFL draft. Brantley made his announcement Friday on SEC Country.
The 6-foot-2, 297-pound redshirt junior was one of UF's top defensive players. Brantley had 31 tackles (9 ½ for a loss) and a forced fumble as a disruptive force on one of the nation's best defenses. Brantley will likely be a first-round pick this spring.
He joins cornerbacks Jalen Tabor and Quincy Wilson, linebacker Alex Anzalone and offensive tackle David Sharpe as UF's early entrants to the draft.
