Florida Gators starting on 2019 recruiting class, Rivals shuffles rankings

A few recruiting nuggets from the last few days:

* Florida picked up its first commit for the class of 2019, DB Jaleel McRae. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound McRae is from New Smyrna Beach. You won't find any star ranking for him on a reputable site...because he just finished his freshman season of high school.

* Florida State landed an oral commitment from four-star DT Cory Durden, from Newberry. The 6-foot-4, 305-pound Durden is the No. 300 player in the country and No. 19 at his position, according to 247Sports' composite rankings. His high school teammate, DT Ja'len Parks, is also an FSU commit.

* Rivals reshuffled its recruiting rankings for the class of 2017. UF commit Daquon Green (Tampa Bay Tech) was one of the big risers. The four-star receiver jumped from unranked to No. 193 nationally. Other notables:

No. 37 DT Ja'len Parks (FSU commit)
No. 38 WR D.J. Matthews (FSU commit)
No. 57 LB Vandarius Cowan (FSU commit)
No. 58 DE Zachary Carter (Hillsborough High)
No. 63 ATH Devan Barrett (Tampa Catholic)
No. 80 OL Navaughn Donaldson (Miami commit)
No. 150 QB Jake Allen (UF commit)
No. 155 RB Adarius Lemons (Clearwater High)
No. 196 OL Kadeem Telfort (UF commit)
