Former Gator Braxton Ogbueze to play for Charlotte

Former Florida forward Braxton Ogbueze has transferred to Charlotte, head coach Alan Major announced today.

Ogbueze, who played high school basketball in Charlotte, will sit out the 2013-14 season per NCAA rules, and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Ogbueze played in 23 games for Florida as a freshman, scoring 19 points with six assists. He was ranked the fifth-best point guard in the nation by coming out of United Faith High School.

Charlotte is one of the schools that recruited Ogbueze out of high school.
