Florida State's first loss of the season dropped the Seminoles in both major polls.

FSU fell eight spots to No. 17 in the latest AP poll, a day after falling to Georgia Tech on the final play of the game. The Seminoles moved down six spots in the coaches' poll, to No. 15.

Florida was one of the programs that benefited from FSU's fall, even though the Gators were on a bye week. UF moved up two spots in each poll - to No. 11 in the AP rankings and 12 in the coaches' poll.

UF's opponent this week, Georgia, is No. 23 in the coaches' poll but unranked by AP voters.

Clemson jumped three spots to third in the AP poll after its 58-0 blowout win at Miami.
