FSU football switches back to Everett Golson

Florida State is changing its starting quarterback - again.

Everett Golson will start Saturday against North Carolina State, FSU coach Jimbo Fisher told reporters after Thursday's practice.

Golson, a graduate transfer from Notre Dame, started the No. 19 Seminoles' first seven games before sustaining a concussion against Georgia Tech. Redshirt junior Sean Maguire started the last two games, including last week's 23-13 loss at Clemson.

Golson has completed 67.2 percent of his passes, throwing 11 touchdowns and one interception with a 151.0 passer rating. Maguire has posted similar numbers, completing 63.9 percent of his passes for four touchdowns, one interception and a 147.7 passer rating.

Although FSU is out of ACC championship contention, the Noles need three wins in the final four games (including a bowl) to secure a fourth consecutive 10-win season.
