When Florida hosts Vanderbillt Wednesday night, a win would do more than just give Florida an SEC Championship outright.

It would put seniors Erik Murphy and Kenny Boynton in an elite group of Florida players.

With a win, Murphy and Boynton would become the first Gator players to win two SEC titles in their four seasons as Gators.

“It would mean a lot,'' Boynton said. "Coach Donovan told us the junior group and our senior group, we’ll probably be the first group to do that so it definitely would mean a lot to be the first group to win two outright SECs.”

Boynton will also leave as the school's second-leading scorer.
