Gators Logan Shore named Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American

Florida pitcher Logan Shore was named to the 2014 Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America Team chosen by Collegiate Baseball on Wednesday.

The SEC Freshman of the Year and a third-team Louisville Slugger All-American, Shore was 7-4 with a team-low 2.16 ERA and led the Gators with 68 strikeouts in 95.2 innings.

A first-team All-SEC selection, the Coon Rapids, Minn., native went 7-1 in league play with a 2.08 ERA, tying for the lead in conference victories.
