Gators offensive coordinator Brent Pease objects to "vanilla" label

Florida offensive coordinator Brent Pease knew the questions were coming, you could just tell.

After the Gators threw just 22 passes in Saturday's win over Toledo - the longest completion being 26 yards - Pease knew talk during his weekly press conference would include the vertical pass and lack of donwfield passes.

Apparently, he's heard some out that from "outside" as well. Pease objects to the Gators' offense on Saturday being called 'vanilla" and said Florida wasn't holding anything back for this week's Miami game.

What the Gators did, he said, was take what the defense gave them - and ultimately won the game.
