Redshirt sophomore OL Tyler Moore was involved in a scooter accident Tuesday night and is out for the remainder of the season.
"Unfortunately last night Tyler Moore was riding home on his scooter and he came around a curve there and his back tire came out from underneath him and he had a compound fracture of his elbow," Florida coach Will Muschamp said. "He's in surgery as we speak. So he'll be out for the season and we'll know about his prognosis and how long after the surgery."
Moore, a Clearwater Countryside alum, has played multiple positions on the offenslive line, but most recently was at left guard.
"He was just coming home after he ate on campus at the dining hall," Muschamp said.
With the loss of Moore, Florida has just two healthy offensive tackles. The Gators gegan with just five at the start of fall camp. Max Garcia will shift to left tackleand Trenton Brown will remain at right tackle. Kyle Koehne and Ian Silberman will be at Garcia's left guard spot.
