Gators quarterback Jeff Driskel slightly injured in Miami game
Florida QB Jeff Driskel suffered a slight knee sprain in the loss to Miami on Saturday and is currently on crutches, Florida athletic officials announced today.
Driskel was seen walking around campus on crutches, and Florida said he's using them as a precautionary measure. The crtuches are to allow him a chance to keep weight off of his knee this week, but he is expected to play in the Sept. 21 game against Tennessee.
Florida has a bye this week.
Driskel did not appear to have a noticeable limp as he left for the buses following the game in Miami.
He joins OL Tyler Moore (sprained ankle) and OL D.J. Humphries (sprained MCL), who were also injured in Saturday's game.
Also on Monday, CBS and the SEC announced that the Florida-Tennessee game will kickoff at 3:30 p.m.
