Hurricane Matthew: FSU-Miami still on, LSU AD says Gators game might not happen

It seems as if the Florida State-Miami game will go on as scheduled, at 8 p.m. Saturday night at Hard Rock Stadium.

The Seminoles are on their way to Miami for the game, despite Hurricane Matthew, FSU assistant coach Tim Brewster tweeted.

There had been talk of moving the game to Tampa's Raymond James Stadium, depending on the path of the storm.

In other news, there seems to be growing doubt that the LSU-Florida game (initially scheduled for Saturday at noon in Gainesville) might ever take place. The SEC is trying to reschedule the game.
LSU athletic director Joe Alleva was asked Friday morning by ESPN Radio's Baton Rouge affiliate whether the game will happen "over the next four days, indefinitely."

"The game is not going to happen at this point, no," Alleva said.

You can hear the full audio of that here.
