Hurricane Matthew moves UCF-Tulane game to November

Hurricane Matthew is already messing up this week's college football schedule.

Friday's UCF-Tulane game in Orlando has been moved to Nov. 5, the Knights announced Wednesday morning. Both teams were off on that date.

"Taking into account all the latest projections for Hurricane Matthew, we have to keep the safety of everyone involved in these events at the forefront of our decision-making," UCF athletic director Danny White said in a statement. "We appreciate our friends at Tulane and Houston understanding and working with us through this situation. Commissioner Mike Aresco and the American Athletic Conference staff have been very helpful as well."

No announcements have been made regarding the state's other games. No. 18 Florida hosts LSU at noon Saturday, and USF hosts East Carolina at the same time. No. 10 Miami hosts No. 23 Florida State at 8 that night.
