Jimbo Fisher: Everett Golson healthy, might not start against Clemson Tigers
Florida State QB Everett Golson has been cleared to play Saturday at No. 3 Clemson - but that doesn't mean he'll be the No. 17 Seminoles' starter with the ACC's Atlantic Division at stake.
FSU coach Jimbo Fisher told reporters after Thursday's practice that Golson has been medically cleared after missing last week's game with a concussion. Fisher, however, declined to name a starter. Redshirt junior Sean Maguire started in last week's win over Syracuse. Maguire's only other previous start came last year against Clemson, when he helped FSU earn a 23-17 overtime win.
In other injury news, RB Dalvin Cook will play, Fisher said. Cook missed last week's game with an ankle injury, which was unrelated to his previous hamstring issues.
