Michael Frazier logs 36 minutes in Gators' 79-59 win over Middle Tennessee State

The concern for the No. 16 Florida Gators entering Thursday night’s game against Middle Tennessee was the Gators' lack of a true starting point guard.

With freshman Kasey Hill injured and senior Scottie Wilbekin still suspended for violation of team rules, the responsibility fell on shooting guard Michael Frazier and DeVon Walker.

Walker and Frazier combined for 26 points, two of six Florida players in double figures, to help lead the No. 16 Gators (4-1) to a 79-59 win over Middle Tennessee State.

Frazier, of Tampa, made his first start of the season and played a total of 36 minutes in the game - including all 20 of the first half.
