Will Antonio Morrison's suspension change?
Sophomore LB Antonio Morrison returned to team activities on Thursday after missing one week of fall camp for disciplinary reasons.
Morrison has been suspended for the first two games of the season. He was arrested in June for punching a bouncer who refused to waive the cover charge at a local Gainesville club, then arrested in July for barking at a police dog who was on duty in a patrol car. He agreed to deferred prosecution in the first case, and charges were dropped in the second.
“Antonio Morrison joined us yesterday after missing a week," UF coach Will Muschamp said. "He’s still working through some things for me."
Whether Morrison's two-game suspension will be lifted or reduced remains unclear. Asked on Friday if that's a possibility, Muschamp said: "I'm still working through that."
