Will Yeguete's return still a work in progress
When Florida F Will Yeguete was medically cleared to return to practice - several weeks before his anticipated return date - head coach Billy Donovan warned that there shouldn't be an expectation that Yeguete would just pick up where he left off.
The junior played two minutes in the Feb. 5 game at Arkansas before a knee injury forced him to sit the remainder of the game. Later that week he underwent surgery to remove floating chips from his knee.
Yeguete has played in two games since his return, but it's clear he's not at the level he was at prior to his surgery.
"I'm not so sure that right now, at this point in time, he's got his timing back from an offensive perspective,'' Donovan said.
