As seen on TV
A new commercial promoting FAMU, narrated by newly seated president James Ammons, has hit the NBC Tallahassee affiliate.
The commercial features scenes of the campus today, as well as black and white historic photos highlighting the college's place as Florida's only historically black university.
The spot touts FAMU's place as the "No. 1 producer" of black pharmacists - but of course makes no mention of the pharmacy college's current accreditation woes. The college is on probation as it works to address faculty and curriculum issues.
In the commercial, Ammons talks about the college's goal of producing top graduates ready to compete in the "global marketplace."
