UF's cute girls + football + Taco Bell = Power?

UF has a huge football stadium, lots of cute girls that outnumber the young men, mild weather that helps prevent the winter poundage - and a Taco Bell a mile from campus.

All of which garnered UF a No. 2 overall ranking in CollegeHumor's annual irreverent ranking of "Power Schools."  Penn State got 100 points out of 100, but UF was a close second with 97.3. In a twist that would not please administration officials, CollegeHumor considers UF's high SAT scores a bad thing because "attractive, fun people never score high on their SATs."

Uh, yeah, whatever. That's highly debatable.

FSU, Florida's other big party football school, got a No. 14 rank with 84.3 points. See more details here: http://www.collegehumor.com/rankings

So how did CollegeHumor come up with its point system? By counting the stuff that matters to party-minded students, apparently. Here's their explanation:

This year's 12 categories that score the CollegeHumor.com "Power Rankings" include:

Closest Taco Bell (Possibly one of the most important statistics we offer for the Power Rankings. Your school's proximity to this delectab paradise is of utmost importance for late Friday nights, wee hours of Saturday mornings. )

Cute College Girls on CollegeHumor.com (The more the better! We get a ton of Cute College Girl submissions with only a select 3 each week. If some cutie from your school made the cut you better believe your school will jump up in the Power Rankings. Though having a Cute College Girl at your school doesn't necessarily mean she'll come to your Halloween party.)

Percent Commuters (Commuters are like townies. You never see them around campus but they always show up to parties and drink your beer. They're not really part of the whole school vibe. Show them no respect.)

Stadium Capacity (Bigger stadium equals bigger sports scene equals awesome sports events equals more parties and tail-gating. It may sound cheesy, but it's where the school pride is at.)

Freshman Retention Rate (Your school can't be that great if everyone's trying to get out. If you're retention rate is low, get outta there).

Billboard Peak (When you're looking for something to make your chump high school friends jealous of how awesome your school is, the first thing you should tell them is how many people you've hooked up with. The second thing you should brag about is what bands/artists came to your school. The higher they rank on the Billboard charts, the higher your ranking.)

Bar Closing Time (The later the bars close, the better.)

Average Temperature in February (When its starts getting colder, everyone gets fatter.)

Number of pictures uploaded to CollegeHumor.com (The more pictures the school's students have uploaded, the better. There's nothing that makes a school better than more embarrassing pictures we have of the student body.)

Percent Greek (The number of fraternities and sororities on campus is closely related to how many parties will happen any given weekend.)

Percentage Female at Schools (According to CollegeHumor, the more girls, the better.)

Average SAT (Attractive, fun people never score high on their SATs.  Everyone knows that.)
