Ammons names interims to CFO and IT chief posts
FAMU President James Ammons has selected the two people serving as his interim chief financial officer and his VP for information technology to serve in the posts permanently.
Teresa Hardee, who served under Ammons at North Carolina Central University, will remain FAMU's CFO and vice president for administrative and fiscal affairs. Robert Seniors will serve as the vice president for Enterprise Information Technology.
Hardee, former assistant vice chancellor for financial planning at NCCU, said she is happy to continue the "good work" she and others are doing to straighten up FAMU's long-troubled finances. The results of her long hours in recent months will be tested Tuesday, when accreditors with SACS consider whether to take FAMU off its six-month probation.
Seniors, with has more than 10 years of management experience in information technology, earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from FAMU.
“It is indeed a privilege and honor to be able to serve my alma mater in this capacity,” said Seniors. “It has always been my dream and now it has become a reality.”
