'Don't Tase Me, Bro' is quote of year

UF student Andrew Meyer’s plea to Taser-wielding campus police spawned a host of T-shirts and cyberspace traffic jams on YouTube.

The folks with the Yale Book of Quotations have chosen “Don’t Tase Me, Bro,” as the quote of the year, saying it symbolizes the influence and speed of pop culture.
