Hillsborough special assignment

So Eric Dungy, the son of the NFL coach, has gotten a coveted seat at South Tampa's Plant High School using special assignment. So the high-profile case has brought a lot of attention to the process.

So what about other schools?

Plant High is hardly the only school where district officials turn down scores of special assignment requests. In fact, you may be surprised to see the popularity of schools that don't have Plant's golden reputation. Check out the list here.
