FSU Prez headed to first-of-kind football forum

Tkwetherell_2
FSU President T.K. Wetherell, a former FSU football star and House Speaker, will be one of seven panelists at a first-of-its-kind forum addressing the challenges that face college football. The forum, organized by groups including the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, is in Dallas May 15-16.

Wetherell is the only university president on the panel, which includes Ohio State coach Jim Tressell and Notre Dame athletic director Kevin White.

Among the topics to be addressed: media relations, academics, recruiting, player conduct, obligations of coaches beyond the field, coaching contracts, minority coaching opportunities, and the influence of the NFL on college football.
