FCAT coming tomorrow

Fcat_logo_2
Just a quick reminder for the test data junkies among you. The Florida Department of Education plans to release the state, district and school results of the FCAT math, reading and science sections for fourth- through tenth-grade tomorrow. It's a whole lot of information - we tend to call it a data dump - and maybe we'll find something interesting in there.

Count on this. School officials will immediately begin parsing through the information in hopes of figuring out their school grades and adequate yearly progress ratings before the state officially announces those in mid-July. As if they have nothing else to do.

Happy first full week of summer vacation!
