SPC celebrates reaccreditation

St. Petersburg College administrators are celebrating this week, after receiving another 10-year seal of approval from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the accrediting body for higher education institutions in this region of the country.

SPC President Carl M. Kuttler Jr. announced this morning that he just got a letter from Belle S. Wheelan, SACS president, reaffirming reaffirmed SPC's accreditation.

"Everyone in the college family worked very hard on the SACS reaffirmation process, and this result is a tribute to them," Kuttler said.
