Model teachers
Classroom teachers have an audience every day, but the kids aren't there to check out what the teachers wear.
That changes Oct. 11 when six Hillsborough teachers will head down the catwalk at Macy's Westshore to show off the latest Jones New York fashions. Ten percent of the sales of the apparel (up to $500,000) afterward will be donated to an education fund.
Who are these six?
- Erin Fallo, Oak Grove Elementary School
- Melissa Malden, Oak Grove Elementary School
- Rew Chisholm, Robles Elementary Academy
- Tara Darr, Essrig Elementary School
- Christine Grovenstein, Joe E. Newsome High School
- Sarah Sesser, Medulla Elementary School
The event begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11. The address is 298 Westshore Plaza. Come see your teachers strut their stuff.
