Florida school grades to come Thursday

JUNE 15, 2009

They can't tell us at what time, but the public information officers at the Florida Department of Education can tell us that school grades and adequate yearly progress reports for all our schools will be released Thursday.

Many school officials have been trying to figure out their ratings based on the reams of FCAT data already released over the past several weeks. Now they'll know whether they're destined to get recognition funds (less per student than last year) or more oversight.

We'll bring you the info as soon as we get it.
