Former Pinellas teacher lands top schools job in Irving, Texas

Beddentwo (Small)-thumb-150x225-74051 Back in the 1980's, Dana Bedden was a three-sport standout at Osceola High School.

In 1991, he began his teaching career with the Pinellas County school system.

Now, Bedden is the new superintendent of the Irving (Texas) Independent School District, a 33,000-student school district outside Dallas.
