New principal at King High School

Arlene Castelli is the new principal of Hillsborough County's King High School. She replaces Michael Rowan, who is moving to Wharton High School to replace Bradley Woods, who was given a job in the human resources department.

Castelli, 51, joined the Hillsborough district in 1990 as a teacher and human relations specialist at McLane Middle School.

She served as an assistant principal at Van Buren and Giunta Middle School, then principal of Giunta and, since 2012, principal of Williams Middle Magnet School.

The district also named these principal appointments on Tuesday:

Elisa Suarez, 33, at Westchase Elementary, formerly an assistant principal at Westchase, replacing Erik Holley.

Frankye Bulmer, 36, at Palm River Elementary, moving from Dunbar Elementary and replacing Dawn Stites.

Dawn Stites, 49, at Dunbar moving from Palm River and replacing Frankye Bulmer.

Amber Cronin at Pizzo K-8, moving from Bing Elementary.
