Anclote High gets new principal
Pasco County superintendent Kurt Browning looked no farther than the one qualified applicant he had to take over the principalship at Anclote High School in Holiday.
Michelle Williams turned out to be just the right person for the job.
Williams, an assistant principal at Hudson High School for the past six years, said she felt like the school was the perfect place for her, too.
"I was waiting for the right fit and the right place," Williams told the Gradebook. "I had visited the school over the last couple of years, and there's something very special about the school. It was just a place I felt I belong."
She will take over for Monica Ilse, Anclote's first and only principal. Ilse will move to the district office as a learning community executive director.
