3rd grade reading FCAT brings good news, bad news for Pinellas
Fifty-six percent of Pinellas County's third graders are reading at or above grade-level, according to FCAT scores released this morning. That's on par with the statewide results for the state's third-graders, however it indicates a drop in performance over 2011, according to a state analysis.
Some schools are happier than others. But most were trying to make sense of the scores, given the state's changes to the test. Developing story here.
