Another candidate jumps into Pasco School Board race
The addition of Cotee River Elementary teacher Anthony Terranova brings the tally to 15 candidates for four seats. Terranova has filed papers indicating he will run for the District 3 post that Cathi Martin is leaving.
He would face real estate broker Cynthia Armstrong, developer Mike Ryan and lawyer Sallie Skipper in the August primary if he qualifies for the ballot. Qualifying occurs in June, and candidates are collecting petition signatures now.
Terranova also expressed interest in the seat last year when Martin indicated she might resign. See his application to the governor's office for more details. You also can check out his campaign web site for info about his platform.
