Still, the state is pressing forward. It announced the availability of 10 new high school math and science textbooks online, for free. And ed secretary Glen Thomas remains hopeful that their day will come, soon.
"This is a groundbreaking initiative," the L.A. Times reports Thomas telling a group. "We think that technology is one of the ways to reform and improve education."
