Award given to Pinellas-Lastinger program

teacher education program that resulted from a partnership between the Pinellas school district and the University of Florida Lastinger Center was given the 2011 Distinguished Program in Teacher Education Award this week by the Association of Teacher Educators.

According to a district press release, Pinellas and Lastinger officials made a presentation to judges that "highlighted the quiet revolution over the last three and a half years that has been taking place in Pinellas County Schools."
