Battle lines drawn in wardrobe choices?
We're still waiting on the Florida Board of Governors to take up the USF Polytechnic independence issue at its meeting going on right now at Florida Atlantic University. They're scheduled to discuss it around 2 p.m. and take a vote on whether the Lakeland campus should become the state's 12th university at 3:30 p.m.
In the meantime, we couldn't help but notice a few interesting wardrobe choices.
Wearing green and gold, USF's official colors: USF President Judy Genshaft, her chief of staff, USF's lobbyist, and Board of Trustees chairman John Ramil.
In blue or white, the colors USF Poly used in its new marketing campaign that the Times has just learned cost half a million dollars: USF Poly staff members and chancellor Marshall Goodman, whose tie is a shiny shade of sky blue.
It's probably just a coincidence.
