Weatherford, considered a future House speaker, also will sit on the Full Appropriations Council on Education and Economic Development and the Education Policy Council.

State Rep. John Legg, R-New Port Richey, will chair the Pre-K-12 Policy Committee and be vice chair of the Pre-K-12 Appropriations Committee. He also will sit on the Full Appropriations Council on Education and Economic Development and the Education Policy Council.
