Bell to announce her Pinellas School Board endorsement Saturday
Keisha Bell, who lost the three-way primary election for Pinellas County School Board District 7 but took 28 percent, plans on Saturday to tell everyone what school board candidate she'll be voting for on Nov. 2. (That's according to her web site.)
Neither of the two remaining candidates say they know for sure who she's endorsing. Jim Jackson sounded doubtful it's going to be him. He said he wasn't invited to the 3 p.m. event at the Enoch Davis Recreational Center. And while Lew Williams sounded a bit more optimistic (asked if he expected Bell to endorse him, Williams said, "I certainly hope so."), he also said he didn't get a direct invitation to Saturday's event.
Whatever the case, both men said they plan on being there.
Bell couldn't be reached Friday.
