Changes at the Gradebook

27

August

There have been a couple big changes to the Gradebook.

Rebecca Catalanello, who has been covering Pinellas County Schools, has left the Tampa Bay Times after nine years. A New Orleans native, she's moving back to her hometown with her husband and young daughter. Her last day was Friday. Check out her last story - about the district's communications department - here. You can wish her well @RCatTimes.

Kim Wilmath, who has been covering higher education, is leaving the Times to become the spokeswoman for Florida's Board of Governors. The BOG oversees the state's university system. She starts her new job Sept. 4. Keep an eye out for her this week as she helps cover the Republican National Convention in Tampa. Or wish her well @kimwilmath

Replacements for Rebecca and Kim haven't been announced yet. If you have news tips to pass along, please contact Jeff Solochek (jsolochek@tampabay.com) for state and regional stories or Cara Fitzpatrick (cfitzpatrick@tampabay.com) for Pinellas stories. You also can contact editor Charlotte Sutton (csutton@tampabay.com.)
