Chronicle: majority of Florida legislators have bachelor's, went to school in-state
Ever question the wisdom of your lawmakers? Now you can see how educated they actually are.
The Chronicle of Higher Education just put out an extensive graphic detailing how far along legislators went in college and where they went. It shows that while nationally only 74 percent have bachelor's degrees or better, 85 percent of Florida's congressmen and women do. It also shows that slightly more Florida legislators than the national average went to school in the state they now represent. Most went to public schools. Read the full story here.
