Commissioner candidate interviews postponed
At the recommendation of its search firm, the Florida Board of Education has extended the deadline for applications to become commissioner of education.
The board also canceled its meeting for next week Wednesday, at which time it had planned to interview candidates. That meeting is now scheduled for 8:30 a.m. June 21 at the Tampa Airport Marriott.
